Electricity in
Montenegro to increase in price in second half of year
Radomir
Milovic, president of the board of directors of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro
(www.epcg.cg.yu), stated that electric energy in that Republic will rise in
price, but not until the second half of the year. He said that “It isn’t
realistic” to expect an electricity price increase in the first part of 2006.
“I expect that electric energy in Montenegro will rise in price in
the second half of the year”, Milovic said, but he didn’t state the extent of
the increase. The prices of one kilo-watt-hour of electricity in Montenegro are
currently 4.4 euro cents, and double that (8.8 cents) for the industry.
